To celebrate the conclusion of “The Zurich Archipelago,” we invite everyone to a grand get-together. We are planning a picnic on the patchwork blankets created during the festival from the crochet and knit squares made and collected together. Food will be provided by the Social Kitchen.

Beforehand, we will meet at the Arboretum, where curator Mirjam Varadinis will give an introduction to the local projects. Afterwards, we will all walk together in a big procession with the colorful patchwork blankets through the city to the Platzspitz park. The more people, the better. So please, everyone come along!

12:30 p.m. · Meet at the Arboretum by the artwork of Hulda Zwingli (General-Guisan-Quai 20, 8002 Zurich). Introduction by curator Mirjam Varadinis

From 1 p.m. · Meet at Bauschänzli. Joint procession with the picnic blankets to Platzspitzpark.

2–5 p.m. · Community picnic at "Pakghor- The Social Kitchen" in Platzspitzpark, near the music pavilion.
